Georgia Brown’s is not your typical BBQ joint. In fact, I went there for a nice steak dinner, not any kind of BBQ. When the waiter mentioned the special of the evening though, I fell back to my roots and went for it!

As it turns out the special for the night was baby back ribs, slow roasted, and smothered in their own sweet BBQ sauce. Served over cheddar-mashed potatoes, with a side of green beans - all my favorites rolled up into a single meal!

No doubt about it - I’ll be going back to Georgia’s every time I travel to D.C. If the ribs were any indication of the rest of the menu, I’ll leave happy every time as well! I would definitely recommend G.B.’s (although I can’t promise they’ll have ribs on the menu) for a high quality meal in a nice place!!!
